[caldeveloper-l] ical4j zoneinfo resources

Hi,

(I'm not sure whether this is the correct mailing list for such questions,
but there seem to be no ical4j specific list as of yet.)

My colleague Luke Nicholson (CC'd) has discovered that there are two sets
of timezone definitions
<https://github.com/ical4j/ical4j/tree/master/src/main/resources> included
into the icaj4j library: zoneinfo and zoneinfo-global. It seems like
zoneinfo is the one used by default.

Does anyone happen to know why there are two and what the conceptual
difference between the two is?
