It’s only five weeks to CalConnect XLII in Tokyo, and the registration fee for the conference will go up from $450 to $495 after May 18th.  Time to make plans, book hotel and travel, and register!

Please Note: After Monday 30 April, you will no longer be able to book the conference hotel at the CalConnect rate.  However you should still be able to book at the Hotel Monterey via their web site.

The  meeting venue is at Sogetsu Hall <http://www.sogetsu.or.jp/e/know/hall/>, Akasaka, Tokyo. The venue is about a five minute walk from the conference hotel, Hotel Monterey Akasaka <https://www.hotelmonterey.co.jp/en/akasaka/>.

You must book by the end of April to receive the CalConnect rate, and you must book via the e-mail address provided on this Lodging page.

The Interoperability Test Event and Developers Forum will take place on our usual schedule beginning Monday morning and going through Wednesday noon.  The Conference will begin Wednesday after lunch and run through Friday mid-afternoon.  There will be some special introductory sessions on CalConnect and calendaring standards currently planned for Wednesday afternoon, as well as some presentations from JEDC (Japan Event Data Consortium) also on Wednesday afternoon.  

We will be posting detailed schedules and agendas on the event web page once they are available, and expect that they may evolve over time.
