If I receive:

BEGIN:VCALENDAR
METHOD:CANCEL
BEGIN:VEVENT
UID:abcd
RECURRENCE-ID;RANGE=THISANDFUTURE:20220414T120000Z
...


What is the correct processing on the attendees copy of the event?

Can I simply adjust the UNTIL on the RRULE to be one second prior to the 
recurrence-id and remove any RDATEs on/after the recurrence-id?

If not, what is the correct process?  None of RFC 5545, 5546, 6638 seem 
to discuss this, unless I have missed it.
